The Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation will be selling one-day badges to the Masters Golf Tournament at $50 per day to active duty military personnel assigned, or on temporary duty for school (non-initial entry training), at Fort Gordon. Badges are not eligible for participation in the Augusta National’s Junior Pass Program. Eligible active duty members must complete an application form in Room 260, Darling Hall. Personnel will designate one day only. Application forms will be accepted 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. through March 18. A drawing will be held at 1 p.m. March 21 in Room 229C, Darling Hall, to determine those personnel eligible to purchase one-day badges. It is anticipated that there will be more applications than badges and that there will be some last minute cancellations. Additional names will be drawn for each day of play and placed on a stand-by list. A list of winning names for each round will be posted in Room 260, Darling Hall. It’s the applicant’s responsibility to check the list and/or call 791- 8664/2625/2012/2611for verification of selection for a Masters Badge. The DFMWR will make no refunds if individuals are unable to attend a round of tournament play due to a postponement or “call” made by the Augusta National.

Personnel will pick-up badges on the day of the chosen round with paid receipt and a valid military ID card from 6 to 9:30 a.m. at Room 260, Darling Hall. Badges not picked up by 9:30 a.m. will be offered to alternates. Badges for Thursday (only), round one, may be picked up between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Wednesday. This early pick-up does not apply to Friday’s, Saturday’s or Sunday’s rounds, due to late turn-ins. Badges must be returned to the same location no later than 9 p.m. the same day (except Sunday). Badges picked up for Sunday’s round must be returned by 4 p.m. April 11. Personnel not returning badges by the prescribed time will be contacted through command channels for necessary action. Eligible individuals must personally present active duty military ID card at the time of registration, payment, pickup and return of badge. Cells phones and cameras are strictly prohibited on the grounds at all times. Anyone violating these policies will be subject to removal from the grounds, and the Garrison commander will be notified.
